Stuart Halls
Portfolio Finance Manager
Stuart joined Ironbridge in 2009 and brings 12 years of commercial experience working in medium to large sized organisations, across a wide variety of industries both in Australia and in International markets.
Stuart's role at Ironbridge is to add value to the portfolio companies and encompasses three main areas, namely; assisting in the financial due diligence process prior to acquisition; working closely with portfolio CFOs and finance teams on EBITDA improvement projects; process improvement and the establishment of improved business controls; and involvement in the IM preparation prior to a sale.
Most recently Stuart held the position of Operations Finance Manager for Campbell Arnott's in Sydney for four years and previously for Unilever in the UK.
During this time he was responsible for the financial control of several business units, with his role spanning across management and financial accounting, purchasing, planning, and logistics. Stuart's involvement in driving efficiency and process improvements is his area of speciality.
Whilst at Ironbridge, Stuart has worked with iNova, Mrs Crocket's, Stardex and FleetPartners. Whilst at iNova Stuart built new management reporting tools to provide greater clarity of manufacturing performance and highlight areas of opportunity for EBITDA improvement.
Most recently, Stuart has worked closely with FleetPartners to develop a new forecasting tool and to strengthen financial controls.
Stuart holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the UK and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School. Stuart is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
